Statement of Privacy
The Advisory Council (TAC) takes your privacy seriously and considers your use of
TAC services as strictly confidential. The information that TAC collects about
you and your company is held in strictest confidence, and TAC will not make public
the information or the content of discussions that you provide to TAC or to other
TAC clients; in any TAC peer community which TAC may introduce; or any other place
on the Web site. This gives you the freedom to research and explore your interests
without the fear that the general public is “listening in.” Because
we gather certain types of information about our users we want to help you understand
the terms and conditions surrounding the collection and use of that information.
Collection and Use of Information
TAC collects information about you and your enterprise in the business profile.
We use that information to provide TAC with the facts that enable us to tailor advice
and resource recommendations to your individual needs. We also use that information
to understand trends and patterns in our community, but will not disclose individual
company information. This will help us to serve you better in the future by
developing articles and expertise in your targeted areas. Information collected
about you during the registration process is your public face to other clients if
you participate in any client community message boards which TAC may introduce.
You can update this later, if you wish. Other than what you provide as part
of your “public profile,” no other community member can see any information
about you unless you yourself forward it along to them.
Use of Cookies
Your Internet browser has a feature called "cookies" that store small amounts of
data on your computer to help identify you when you return to the site. The
TAC site uses session-based cookies during the length of your visit that hold information
about you as you move from page to page. These session cookies are cleared
once you logout or close your browser. It is required that you have cookies
enabled in your browser for the site to operate properly.
Statement of Use
The Advisory Council services are operated for the exclusive use of its clients.
TAC provides access to its web site to only its clients, and support staff on a
need-to-know basis. Advisory reports are accessed only by the subscribing
client and the TAC support staff assigned to the respective client or project.
TAC commits to protecting the privacy of its clients.
